Meet Dr. Campbell
Michael P. Campbell, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine, joint preservation, reconstruction, and joint replacement.
Dr. Campbell earned both his Bachelor of Science and Medical Degree from Georgetown University before completing his Orthopedic Surgery Internship and Residency at Virginia Commonwealth University. He then pursued advanced subspecialty training through an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at the prestigious Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
His experience extends beyond the clinical setting. Dr. Campbell has served as an assistant team physician for the Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Phillies, Villanova University, St. Joseph’s University, and numerous high school athletic teams. This experience has given him a unique perspective on treating athletes and active individuals at every level. He currently serves as Team Physician for Flagler County Athletics, the Daytona Tortugas, and serves as a board member for the Florida Alliance for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Campbell believes that excellent orthopedic care begins with listening. He uses evidence-based medicine, clear communication, and compassion to help each patient understand their condition and treatment options.
